Since our founding in 2015, Urban Dancera has completed over 300 wedding choreography projects across India and internationally, including many virtual weddings fro the heart of India. Taking our creativity beyond borders, we ensure that with our seamless virtual or in-person rehearsals, your sangeet and wedding dances are as captivating as ever. KARISHMA TANNA
FOUNDER & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Karishma embarked on a dance journey at the age of 6, turning her passion into a profession by 16. This passion for movement led her to establish Urban Dancera, not just to spread the joy of dance; it was about empowering individuals worldwide to express themselves through movement. Her extensive training includes graduation from the Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company and further studies at the Broadway Dance Centre in New York.

Boasting 10 years of experience, Urban Dancera is a well renowned name Wedding Industry. Beyond choreography, she leads a studio offering dance and fitness classes for individuals aged 4 and above, with the aspiration of building it into a recognized dance school, making high quality dance education accessible to all. Additionally, Karishma is a certified yoga instructor, ackowledging the importance of holistic wellness in her dancing career.

Since its inception in 2015, Urban Dancera, has successfully completed numerous projects both domestically and internationally, solidifying it's position in the Global Dance community.

Her goal extends beyond the studio: to foster inclusivity, making dance accessible to all, from novices to professionals, spreading Indian roots worldwide.

Urban Dancera is a expanding team of 10, young, passionate, and extremely talented dancers. Our diverse group includes creative professionals with experience in various dance styles, having trained under esteemed teachers before joining Urban Dancera.

We focus on process oriented work, ensuring that every project we undertake is executed with precision and creativity.
